established in 1880 originally as a hardware store. Founded and still located in
Worcester, Massachusetts, Waites evolved to become a specialty industrial
distributor focusing on cutting tools, abrasives, precision tools and industrial
supplies. We are centrally located to serve the entire New England region for
all these needs.
In 1979, Waites was acquired by Washburn-Garfield, a leader in
industrial pipe, valve, fittings and controls throughout the New England
region. Both Waites and Washburn-Garfield pride themselves in their
reputation as having the most experienced technical staff to provide
